Kundry Speaks: Yvonne Minton CBE in conversation with Professor Emeritus Raymond Holden AM

ZOOM WEBINAR 6:30PM 12TH NOVEMBER 2020

As one of the most distinguished and versatile mezzo-sopranos of the twentieth century, Yvonne Minton performed and recorded with many of the leading conductors of the age. A passionate and committed Wagnerian throughout her career, she gave critically acclaimed performances of the composer’s music in the opera house, concert hall and recording studio with artists such as Sir Georg Solti, Pierre Boulez and Carlos Klieber. With Professor Emeritus Raymond Holden AM of the Royal Academy of Music, she will look back over her fascinating encounters with Wagner’s masterworks and discuss the ways in which they helped shape her life in music.
